Raising a flag.

Sussner is a branding firm in Minneapolis, and was established in 1999. We had the opportunity to rebrand the entire business with newfound flexibility and truly bring the brand to life with a focus on brand strategy & design for private clubs.

The brand evolved into a story about a flag, reflective of how we help our customers raise their flags. It's a symbol of something we all respect and rally around. We never wave a white flag, because we never give up.

Brand strategy & design for private clubs.

With the mission set in stone, we knew we had to be bold in order to be memorable. Grey serves as a neutral undertone, and red is the punch that we want clubs to remember.

Branding is obviously more complex than a color, but we have to keep in mind that we're all human, and small things done consistently can be memorable, even subconsciously. We're entering a market where tradition and longevity are determining qualities.

Expansive applications.

We redesigned our proposals, presentations and website came. Then, it was about how we showed up in person. Trade show banners, case studies, stationery, giveaways, mailers, you name it. Then we designed internal touchpoints, like posters, apparel, and office signage.

Brand Illustrations.

Whether there's an employee anniversary, or an annual conference, we always had to show up in ways that get people excited about design.

A proud partner.

The ultimate goal was to create a brand that clubs would be proud to partner with. We filled our presentations with a few dozen custom designed pages for any situation, colorway, and word count. A strategy presentation that previously took us 10 hours to make from scratch only took an hour. Everything looked custom, and that was the point.
